Our shopper loyalty scheme is designed to reward you for using our goods and services regularly. We have around 70 shops and businesses in the scheme divided into 3 categories - RETAIL, FOOD/DRINK and SERVICES. When you use services or buy something - anything, there is no minimum spend - you can have your loyalty card stamped. Collect 3 stamps from each category (9 stamps in total) and send or hand your completed card in to the BID office at 31-35 Hamilton St, Carluke ML8 4HA. There will be a single cash prize draw from completed cards every month. Cards are available from participating shops and from the BID Office.
Standard shops like newsagents, shoe shop, children's wear, cards and gifts. Charity shops will stamp your card for a sale and may also stamp your card when you donate. Just ask.
Hairdressers, barbers, beauticians, opticians, dentists etc. Chemists may regard themselves as services due to the Pharmacy, or as retailers. Check the sticker symbol on the window or door, or ask a member of staff.
Butchers, bakers, takeaway food, cafes and restaurants: also pubs and the off license.
The supermarkets are retail, even if you only buy food on a particular visit.
Carluke town centre is at the heart of our community. It forms part of our identity and is the place we meet friends, relax and access the goods and services we need in our day to day lives. Retail shopping in town centres is on the retreat, but there are many many other reasons to visit and use your town centre.
At Carluke BID, we recognise that the success of the town centre is important to everyone in our community. Please support our town by visiting when you can. For news of what's happening, please visit our facebook page.
Carluke Business Improvement District (BID for short) was established in 2014. It is an organisation led and paid for by Carluke town centre businesses and organisations. The aim of the BID is to deliver a five year plan to help improve the centre of Carluke for everyone, including businesses, the non-profit community, and religious organisations...and of course the public.
We hope you will continue to help us improve the BID Area by using the goods and services based here, by supporting our events and initiatives, and by telling us what you like about the area and what would encourage you to visit more often.
We're passionate about supporting Carluke's local businesses and want to see them succeed. We use social media, photography and video to help promote businesses and show them at their best. You can see what Carluke has to offer by viewing our business directory.
