Serving our Community

Helping our businesses and organisations get more active on social media is big priority for us in 2018. We will begin a programme of commercial support in January and the BID will offer high quality imaging and video services free to our levy payers. This will help our organisations and businesses connect with customers and service users in a way which suits them. So if you are a social media user, please 'Like' and 'Share' as much as possible to support our local goods and services.

We have around 70 shops and businesses in the scheme divided into 3 categories - RETAIL, FOOD/DRINK and SERVICES. When you use services or buy something - anything, there is no minimum spend - you can have your loyalty card stamped. Collect 3 stamps from each category (9 stamps in total) and send or hand your completed card in to the BID office at 31-35 Hamilton St, Carluke ML8 4HA. There will be a single cash prize draw from completed cards every month. Cards are available from participating shops and from the BID Office.

cARLUKE bid

What is Carluke BID?

It all started when...

Carluke Business Improvement District (BID for short) was established in 2014. It is an organisation led and paid for by Carluke town centre businesses and organisations. The aim of the BID  is to deliver a five year plan to help improve the centre of Carluke for everyone, including businesses, the non-profit  community, and religious organisations...and of course the public.

We hope you will continue to help us improve the BID Area by using the goods and services based here, by supporting our events and initiatives, and by telling us what you like about the area and what would encourage you to visit more often.
